How to Stay Motivated

Staying motivated is like keeping a balloon in the air - it takes little taps, not one big push. Start with tiny goals you can actually do, like “I’ll walk for five minutes” or “I’ll write one line.” When you finish, smile and say, “I did it!”

Rewards and what you tell yourself matters. Treat yourself with something small, like music, a snack, or a break. Some days, your balloon will drop. That’s okay! Pick it up and start again. Don’t wait to feel motivated; just start, and the feeling will follow.

Ask for help if you need it; everyone does sometimes. The secret is to keep going, even a little bit. Every small step counts, little by little, and soon you’ll look back and realize how far you’ve come.
